How not to be bored: Craft edition
Are your hands always itching to do something creative? But when you have the time to do so, do you
find yourself stuck? as in you have no idea what to do?... Well, you have come to the right place. I’m
going to give some tips to erase your boredom and draw your creativity.
Just sit and recall all the things you wanted to try out. Research on them and draw or craft away.
For example, if you saw something on Pinterest, visit the pin you had saved for later and try that
out now.
1.1. Youtube is great when you want to try something new. You can find a bunch of tutorials.
1.2. You can even find short tutorials for arts and crafts on Pinterest. Pinterest is really good for
inspiration and practice. You can find millions of reference photos to draw from.
If you have some random supplies lying around, you can use your creativity to use that supply in
different ways. Even trying to use waste paper or fabric is good.
I love to fill my art journal whenever I get time. Here’s a guide to making an art journal:
I also love to look up bullet journal spreads and try them out. Oddly enough I have a guide for a
bullet journal as well.
If you're anything like me and are building your stationery collection, you may find yourself buying
some products and just stashing them in random places. Well, STOP. Go and put all the stationery
you own in a nice and easily reachable manner. I have a box that I use to store all art, craft, and
stationery supplies.
If you love to collect stationery and craft supplies like me, go on Amazon or any other shopping site
and wish to list your favorite supplies.
6.1. I cannot emphasize how much I love finding new stationery websites. Unfortunately, the ones
found are usually based in foreign countries, so the shipping cost is expensive. I always dream
to buy them after growing up myself.
6.2. But that doesn't mean you cannot browse a hundred websites and wishlist stuff. I like to
copy-paste the links of my favorite supplies in a notepad. Some of my personal favorite sites are:
It has a WIDE variety of stationery and craft supplies to browse
It has a ton of aesthetic vintage stationery, dried flower stickers, and the products on this
site is just so aesthetic
Alicia Souza (based in India)
She designs a lot of quirky notebooks, stickers, etc.
They have a SUPER WIDE variety of stationery. They have art supplies to craft supplies
and ergonomic stationery to fun and quirky stationery. They also have a youtube channel stating various uses for their products.
There are a million things to do when you’re bored, these are just some things I like to do. If you love
