Why do I love Art and Crafts?

Ooo This is a tough one, but then I chose the topic. I can talk about Why I love art and craft all

day, in this case, blog all day.


Where should I even start? 





I like to consider myself as a perfectionist, not all the time but when I do I go, full perfectionist.

Mostly all my perfectionism shows in my drawings and paintings. I can sit all day to do

something perfectly, ESPECIALLY IN ART AND CRAFT. I don't really think I can put that

much perfection in anything else, maybe in baking.


My mother says I have the utmost patience when it comes to anything related to art or craft.

The other day I showed her a bujo spread. She was fascinated by the fact that I have the

patience to actually maintain a bujo. The more I think about it, the more I think it is true. But

then what is there not to love? 


I mean the whole process is just mind-boggling. Deciding what to draw (probably the most

difficult step, But after this, it's a smooth slope), sketching out the basic design, Picking out the

colours, mixing them,  Painting (This is the Best step according to me).Looking at the finished

result it is just oddly satisfying.





Whenever I paint, I just Indulge in a whole other world. It's like all that matters now is what I

paint. All the tension of anything existing just fades away. It is an indescribable feeling which I

am trying my best to explain. I never even get frustrated if something goes wrong. In this

“other world”, the feeling of negativeness just doesn’t exist.






I consider myself as an amateur artist, not a great one but sure. I love drawing and painting

and crafts, but I can't come up with ideas on my own. I usually scour Pinterest for

inspiration. Lately, I have been trying my best to. I recently did a decent sketch of Taylor Swift

(Love her).


We all have heard of animators, UX/UI designers, Artists, Tattoo artists etc. I just think it's

fascinating to turn something that is just an idea into a real visual thing. I long to be an

Animator or UX/UI designer someday.


Ending this blog, I would like to say not everyone likes art and craft but this is just how I feel.

Exam Season

E xam. What do I tell you about it? The moment I hear the word exams I can feel all the previous classes’ exams rushing around in my head. The nervousness, the books, the learning, in short, the EVERYTHING. The “Exam Season” here is the month of September and October. But the nervousness starts the moment we receive the scary-looking exam timetable. My Mid-term exams ended just last week, and trust me when I tell you, it was tiring, it always is. You think you would get a break after it, but unfortunately, I have classes till Diwali.  Exams are almost always stressful, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tackle them with ease. I am a fairly good student in terms of studying, but I still struggle (everyone does, trust me).
