No Tool Nails ( Extremely Easy )
The summer season calls for vibrancy. Let's take some of that sunny brightness and give it to our nails. Why have plain boring nails with your gorgeous outfits? Let the aesthetic flow down to your fingernails.
One could find many complex yet cool nail art over on Pinterest. However, for someone like me, it's a disastrous experience. I find myself smudging the nail paint on the sofa or chipping them off. Painting the design, and waiting for it to dry can get exhausting. It's true pain to see an intricate design go to complete waste.
This collection of easy, no tool, and basic nail art can really add an "umph" to your OOTDs. Any oops and accidents can be fixed in seconds, due to their artistic simplicity.
I've used basic drugstore nail polish. The better the formula, the easy it is to "nail" these designs. ( pun intended ) The trick is to have a stable hand, and sufficient nail polish on the brush. Don't go too far or make it too scanty. Pick shades and wands that suit you.
These are not exclusive to longer or shorter nails. In fact, I daresay, they look fantastic on shorter nails.
Neutrals go with neutrals. Similarly, bold colours add a unique charm to your look. These 2-minute designs bring so much character to your overall outfit. Just Swoop - Boop- Done!

1. Colour Block
Colour Block had been quite a rage in the fashion industry. It is embraced with powerful pants and bold blazers. Inspired from those trends, here's a colour block idea you could try. This requires just a plain coat of your most vibrant shades/ neutral colour pallete shades. You could go wild or chose just two colours.
Taylor's Swift's Eras Tour nails are a perfect example of bold yet simple nail art.
My version of this is quite fitting for the upcoming Barbie movie.
2. Inverted French tip
Generally, a French tip is basically a sqaure nail with white painted tips, along the natural growth line of the nail. In this variation, you can switch around that white with other colours, giving a chic look to your nails.
Begin with a base colour, then adding a thin strip of coloured nail polish with controlled movements.
3. Dots!
Dots are very easy to form with your typical nail polish brush. Pick up little polish and tap it on your nain with minimal pressure. Don't move the brush too much, to avoid any 'spolchiness'.
You could play around and add them in different patterns. I've gone for a two coloured straight light. You could even make a single toned cross. The possibilities are endless! Feel free to edit these designs to your own convenience.
4. Candy Cane
This one a simply a straight line of polish across a base coat. Be very careful with the stability of your hand, and amount of polish in the brush. This one looks even better with neutrals, in my opinion.
5. Criss-Cross
This one has to be my favourite. It's terribly simple to achive, yet has mind boggling results. Credits to my artistic friend who suggested this pattern.
Start with a base coat and let it dry. Pick up a brush, and wipe it on one side. Use the other to diagnoally paint the tip of your nail. You could leave it here or add another colour in the other direction. Perhaps even use the same colour twice.
I tried using two similar colours to achieve a monotone look. It could look just as marvelous in a black and white combo. Don't forgot to get each layer dry before you begin with another one!
