Why do I love Art and Craft?

Image
Why do I love Art and Crafts? Ooo This is a tough one, but then I chose the topic. I can talk about Why I love art and craft all day, in this case, blog all day. Where should I even start?  I like to consider myself as a perfectionist, not all the time but when I do I go, full perfectionist. Mostly all my perfectionism shows in my drawings and paintings. I can sit all day to do something perfectly, ESPECIALLY IN ART AND CRAFT. I don't really think I can put that much perfection in anything else, maybe in baking. My mother says I have the utmost patience when it comes to anything related to art or craft. The other day I showed her a bujo spread. She was fascinated by the fact that I have the patience to actually maintain a bujo. The more I think about it, the more I think it is true. But then what is there not to love?  I mean the whole process is just mind-boggling. Deciding what to draw (probably the most difficult step, But after this, it's a smooth slope), sketch...

Not through naked eyes.

The world is enlightening and baffling at the same time. It is an imperfect sphere hanging in space across a hot ball of fire, around which it uniformly revolves. In such circumstances, do you think that the inhabitants would be normal? What is normal? Spending ⅓ of your life sleeping so that you could stay alive for the rest?  Ah, what species humans are! They are the most advanced on earth, yet can't inhabit the mystical deep jungles. They build comfortable homes. They don't have terrorizing claws like a tiger or sharp teeth like a shark. They have brains! Such complex structures that they themselves have not completely understood. They used their brains to make technology to make life easier and more comfortable. Does that make them advanced? Such lazy beings! Their activities are questionable. They wage war on their own people. Differentiate and divide themselves into groups. "You are black", they say and keep their mates separate. Inhuman.  They kill and dest...

with love, to my FRIENDS

Image
FRIENDS - A topic which never goes out of trend. For many, it is just a point for showing off who they are’ but for me, they are people who define, they are people who will stand by me even when I am wrong. I have a lot of great friends. When you are with your friends, you feel exuberant. Many times they understand us better than our parents do. Friends influence you, your behaviour, and your choices very deeply. My friends have had a very good impact on me. They have taught me to appreciate things, to speak up, to be patient and to let yourself free at times.  I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light. -Helen Keller This quote is extremely right for me and for everyone who has good friends. If I were to describe my closest friends, this is what i can say in short: I have replaced their name with some others: Alia : When you meet a new friend, it doesn’t matter how long since you have known each other. You will know each other the best. I met her...

Friendship

Image
Friendship ,according to Wikipedia, is “ A relationship of mutual affection between people. It is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association, and has been studied in academic fields such as communication, sociology, social psychology, anthropology, and philosophy.”  Everybody in this world has friends. Be it another random person your age, classmate, coworker, sibling, parents, LITERALLY ANYBODY. It is kind of a blessing in disguise. Having a friend is just fun. Strangely there are even types of friend, I mean that is straight up weird. We have best friends at work, college friends. In my opinion friends are just those who we feel you can share ANY PIECE OF INFORMATION with. If something happens we just have to share that weird or good or bad or irritating moment with them.  Friends are the people you tell a “Don’t tell this to anyone” thing. You feel safe around friends. Not jealous or pressurised like they show in movies. There should be nothing as peer...

INFLUENCE OF FRIENSHIPS - 1

Image
Friendship is the topic cheesy films are made on. And also the same topic on which comedy films are made. Such variety in a simple relationship. Friends from childhood are those we never saw from the eyes of judgement. We became friends because we liked playing with them. Or maybe they seemed different or fun. Nobody knows what's inside your younger self's mind. The friends made at a slightly older age are friends you simply relate to or you like being with. Friends at the stage of being a teenager are picked out by personality- "Who would I like to spend time with?". And well, friendships in adulthood are formed by common problems- "Your child spends too much time on TV! Mine too" or "Yeah yeah, grocery shopping is just not my thing".  But most of my friends are from the first few categories since I myself am a teenager! Well, what can I say, I'm stuck with them :).  Friends form one of the most important sets of people in your life. It is obs...

Mistakes to Avoid while Baking (which i couldn't)

Image
One of my most loved hobbies includes baking. I enjoy baking more than cooking. I just feel that all the academics and other stuff just disappear when I'm in the kitchen baking. It is so therapeutic. Adding the perfect amount of things, the sweet smell of vanilla. I mostly love baking cakes and cupcakes. I have recently started experimenting with frosting. It has not been an easy ride. Well, I'm still learning. There are bound to be some blunders and mistakes. In this blog, I'm going to tell you some mistakes to avoid (which I couldn't) Too much water : Whenever you make the dough, Keep in mind, Do not put the measurement of liquid all at once, it may lead to you crying. Take the measurement of liquid in a separate cup and start putting it little by little. When I was making doughnuts, I accidentally added a little too much milk, it became a gooey mixture. I just got sad cause I wanted to make the perfect doughnuts. I didn't throw it away though, I chilled it in t...

Colorful clothes- without looking like a cLowN

Image
Fashion- something that has become a part of a lot of teenagers' lives. It's not really 'important' per se, but it's just another way we'd like to express ourselves and it's a great skill to have in today's time. Today we are sharing our first fashion-based content and we really hope you like it.  This time, we're gonna discuss wearing colourful, bright, bold and so-called outrageous pieces of clothing. Since it's always been a safe choice to go for neutral colours, such as blacks and whites and nudes, the joyful colours have not been in the limelight. Thanks to social media and the evolution of fashion, we're now more diverse and exploring more ideas and really pushing the boundaries. Although fashion is all about you and there are no rules to it, I think there are some tricks one could follow to have a slightly put-together outfit. Dealing with yellows and reds without turning into traffic lights is what our goal is. Playing with colours an...

Different ways to avoid fighting

Image
Ok ok, I know most of us get into fights frequently, more than average if you are a teenager. And for me, it is more than frequent. I fight with my friends, siblings, cousins, parents, teachers, the pouch which does not close properly, onions which I cut, and even with myself! admit it, you also fight with a lot of people. But all of us equally know that fighting isn't good. It can result in broken pieces of friendship which took years to build, a never-healing scar on the heart, and unreasonable and revengeful hate for the person. When I fight, I cause much verbal harm to the opposite person, not using swear words but using their biggest weakness against themselves. Once when I was having a not-so-going-debate with my uncle an idiot and when I first got into cooking, I cut an onion, which was making me cry into so small pieces that it could no longer be used for curry.  But, I don't frequently get into fights, most of the time I am a peacemaker.  In order to nor to get...

How to make a Good First Impression

Image
"First impressions are always unreliable." ~ Franz Kafka.  Maybe this is true, but not always (at least in my opinion). First impressions are super important. They are used in many situations, such as, in school while meeting a new student or teacher and maybe an elocution competition. I personally feel first impressions should always be true and good. In this blog I am going to give you some tips on how to make a good first impression. Keep a Smiling face: It is important to smile but not creepily. It should be a subtle smile, not weird, but subtle and natural. Smiling is important because it shows that you are interested in the other person and what they are saying. It is a friendly and welcoming way that allows you to start a conversation but if not that, it would at least leave a mark of "Hey you can reach out to me". I would also say body language is important but smiling is just a surer way that won't lead to misunderstandings. Introducing Yourself: Lets ...
